2010 is here and with the new year the preparations for Jagriti have already started . Its been some time since everyone started discussing about the fest at rkgfest , but it was not until a few days earlier that the activities gained some momentum .

First things first . The need for a theme for the fest around which we could weave all our ideas and plans . The minds started working in the same direction and everyone coined one or the other idea . After discussing for some time over the possible themes and their implementation , we have finally agreed upon the theme for the fest . The official name for the theme is yet to be decided but the basic idea is to implement the “futuristic world ( 22nd century )” as the theme for Jagriti’10 .

Jagriti’10 is coming and it calls for hard work and dedication on the part of all of us to make it a big success .

Let’s save our Earth

Abode of human beings,
animals, trees and plants.
Let’s all give a thought
to protect, to conserve
and to improve the lot of mankind

The shady green trees
that are being cut rapidly,
the vehicles on the streets
with smoke and pollution all around,
we shall all become home bound.

where is the past glory?
Is this really a sad story?
Let’s save our Earth for a better tomorrow
And there should not be any death
for you, me and all of us!

VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour on Saturday, March 28, 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm local time. to raise your voice against climate change. This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.

For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF is urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

With a lots of minds at work and loads of notices to be signed, it is always a tedious and a tiresome task for the students to be calm and organize the fest THEIR way.
The RKGIT pariwar has done it quite successfully by putting in lots of efforts and putting their experience into effect making things work faster than before more effectively, may this legacy continue forever…
All the students involved have made the environment of the college such that it favors the fest, in every room we have students working for some event – coordinators, volunteers and participants. Basically, it is the involvement of the students that makes a program success and here in our college we are going to show how it is done!
There’s an energy, an enthusiasm in all that is forcing us to think that this fest may well be the most successful event of RKGIT.
So, lets bring out the best of ourselves to make this fest a huge success.

As more than 500 posters,folders,invitation letters have been send to various colleges and marketing team is still on the way to various colleges,but that’s not at all enough in terms of marketing.As team jagriti is marketing on Orkut,blogs,mails, facebook,twitter and many other social networking sites by sending link of website and blog through promos like banner,poster etc.As everyone is using thejagriti.com as their custom message in gtalk,gmail.Here we are flashing some promos prepared by designers of jagriti09,who are working day and night with loads of work.
